Last updated: May 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Voxlode collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit our website or connect your YouTube channel to use Voxlode. This page is intended as practical policy copy for launch, but it should still be reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on it as legal advice.
1. Who we are
Voxlode is a software product for YouTube creators. It helps users connect YouTube channels, analyze comments, extract audience language, surface viewer questions, and turn comment evidence into reusable content ideas and reports.
You can contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Account information, such as your email address, display name, profile image, login provider, and session information.
- YouTube channel information, such as channel name, channel ID, handle, thumbnail, subscriber count, view count, and connected channel status.
- YouTube video, comment, and analytics information you authorize us to access, such as video titles, thumbnails, publish dates, visibility, duration, views, watch time, likes, comments, and related channel performance context.
- Reports and workflow data you create in Voxlode, such as comment analyses, content briefs, saved outputs, preferences, and dashboard settings.
- Technical information, such as device, browser, pages visited, timestamps, error logs, and basic usage events.
- Communications you send us, such as support requests, feedback, and contact emails.
3. Google and YouTube data
If you connect a YouTube channel, Voxlode uses Google OAuth and YouTube-related APIs only after you grant permission. We use that data to provide the product features you request, including comment import, comment analysis, content briefs, reports, and related insights.
Voxlode's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not allow humans to read Google user data except when necessary to provide support, investigate security or abuse, meet legal obligations, or with your explicit permission.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Voxlode.
- Authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
- Import and sync authorized YouTube channel, video, comment, and analytics data.
- Generate comment analysis, content briefs, reports, and rule-based insights.
- Save your reports, preferences, and workflow state.
- Respond to support requests and product feedback.
- Monitor reliability, diagnose bugs, prevent misuse, and protect the service.
- Comply with applicable legal, security, and contractual obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in limited circumstances:
- With service providers that help us operate Voxlode, such as hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, and error monitoring providers.
- With Google or YouTube as needed to use OAuth, API services, and related platform functionality.
- If required by law, legal process, or a valid government request.
- To protect Voxlode, our users, or the public from fraud, abuse, security threats, or harm.
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your direction or consent.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide Voxlode, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and operate backups. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the reason we hold it.
You may request account or connected YouTube data deletion by contacting [email protected]. You can also revoke Voxlode's Google access from your Google account permissions page. Revoking access may stop future syncs, but you may still need to ask us to delete data already imported into Voxlode.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted tokens where applicable, and production security practices. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong Google account password and protect your devices.
8. International use
Voxlode may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Children
Voxlode is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
10. Your choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your information. To make a request, contact [email protected].
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Voxlode evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by updating this page, changing the date above, or providing in-product notice.
